I’m Rebecca (Bec), and I’m a creative mind who loves the power of the written word and how it can connect and create action.

I started my career jumping fences (quite literally) as a cadet reporter for a regional newspaper, where I quickly learned that sharing stories that evoke a little emotion was my forte. Over the years I’ve worked at news outlets including the Sydney Morning and Sun Heralds, Nine News, Today Tonight, and Sky News Business where I learned how to write snappy, accurate, interesting and compelling stories and scripts.

My strong grounding in news journalism led to stints as a senior Communications and Public Relations expert at large-scale Government, corporate and not-for-profit organisations, running end to end press campaigns and leading corporate communication functions.

For the past 16 years I’ve been communicating from the keyboard with conviction to convert – be it to educate, inform, inspire, or sell. I’m in my flow state when I’m chatting, writing, and helping others.

When I’m not at the keyboard you’ll find me walking my lazy greyhound along the shores of Wamberal Beach where I live on the stunning Central Coast, being a VIP EA to my two children or enjoying a cold beer with my husband as he rolls his eyes at my mum jokes.
